Graduate of the Xavier Bichat Faculty of Medicine (Université Paris 7 Denis Diderot), Dr Christophe Charousset completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery and trauma at Paris Hospitals, then three years as chief resident, assistant of Paris Hospitals in departments specialised in shoulder and knee pathology.
This top-level academic training enabled him to acquire recognised expertise in arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement and sports traumatology, which he continues to enrich through sustained scientific and educational activity in France and internationally.
In 2004, he founded the Institut Ostéo-Articulaire Paris Courcelles (IOAPC), a private practice in the heart of the 8th arrondissement, bringing together specialised orthopaedic surgery, musculoskeletal imaging and sports medicine, with the ambition of offering patients an integrated care pathway of the highest quality.
